Salary: $46 - $50 per hour (depending on experience)

Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified High School Special Education Teacher to join our team in Avondale, AZ. The ideal candidate will be a certified Special Education teacher in the state of Arizona, with a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in an elementary school setting.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure the success of students with disabilities.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to promote academic growth and skill development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state of Arizona.
• Experience working with elementary students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and support students with diverse learning needs.
