Bronx Charter School for the Arts (Bronx Arts) is a public school founded on the principle that a rich and vibrant background in the arts is a key component of achieving academic excellence. Bronx Arts is in its 15th year of operation serving students in Hunts Point and Soundview areas of the South Bronx. Having been awarded the fourth renewal of its charter, the board of Bronx Arts has determined that at this point in time it is important for the organization to recommit to its artistic mission.
A graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program (required), with 2 years of urban teaching experience and state certification (preferred) An outstanding classroom teacher who holds scholars to consistently high academic and behavioral expectations. A results-driven educator with experience in, and commitment to, the use of data analysis and assessments to drive instructional decisions and teacher accountability.
