Hazel Crest School District 152 1/2 serves the communities of Hazel Crest and East Hazel Crest, as well as sections of Markham and Harvey, IL. There are two PreK-8th-grade schools in the district, Barack H. Obama Learning Academy and Jesse C. White Learning Academy. The district is an active member of the community.
