Kent Prep is an established premier academic enrichment center which was founded in 1989. The school's main location is currently in Douglaston, Queens and serves grade levels starting from 3rd to 12th grade. Kent Prep is currently seeking to hire experienced and passionate test prep and/or enrichment instructors to teach our Fall, Spring, and/or Summer semesters. During the school year, our classes are held weekly on weekdays from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:35 PM/2:55 PM. During the summer months, teaching hours are available Monday to Thursday, from 9:30 AM to 1:35 PM. We are located within walking distance of the Douglaston LIRR station which is a 30-minute train ride to or from manhattan.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
- 2 to 3 strong references (Need to be provided with resume or before the interview).
- Strong knowledge and experience in subject area (Math, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, and/or Writing).
- Comfortable teaching to both in-person and online students using tablet and pen.
- 1 or more demonstration lessons required (scheduled after interview).
- US Citizen/Permanent residents only.
Desired:
- 3 years or more of classroom teaching experience.
- Experience in teaching test prep for NY Statewide Exams (3G - 7G), Hunter High School Entrance Exam, SHSAT, ISEE, TACHS, HSPT, SSAT, PSAT, SAT and/or ACT.
