Tribeca Preparatory is a 12-month special needs program dedicated to neurodiverse children ages 4-12 years old. Our school specializes in providing students with individualized academic and behavioral supports while teaching students to be a part of a group and foster friendships. We are a multidisciplinary setting that offers speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and counseling for children with a variety of diagnoses. Tribeca Preparatory is hiring full-time New York Certified Special Education Teacher for the 2024-25.

Job Description:

• Develop academic plans and goals based on assessment data
• Monitor and analyze each student's progress in the areas of communication, academics, behavior and social skills
• Supervise classroom 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 instructors in the classroom to ensure that instruction is consistent across instructors
• Collaborate with related service providers
• Collaborate with parents, home base providers, and the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

• MA in Special Education or a related field with ABA experience (2 years preferred)
• NYS Certification Grades 1-6 Students with Disabilities
