Our mission is to enable all of our children to become lifelong, independent learners who are active participants in their own education, growth and development and who are engaged and challenged to become critical thinkers who can work both individually and cooperatively as problem solvers. Our instructional focus is to have students write for a variety of purposes and audiences with sophistication and complexity appropriate to the grade level. Growth in student learning will be measured by NYCPT, Unit Assessments, and student performance on CCLS writing rubrics.
