P.S./I.S. 127Q Aerospace and Science Academy, is a PK - 8 community school located in East Elmhurst, New York. It serves a diverse student population with more than twelve different languages spoken. Historically, it was designated as a magnet school for Aerospace and Science. To serve the community, the school was transformed from a magnet to a community school. PS/IS 127Q is a school in Good Standing with the New York State Education Department. The school has a PK-8 Spanish Dual Language program offers students the unique opportunity to become bilingual, and bi-literate, to achieve high levels of academic success in both languages. In 2015, we expanded the Dual Language program to the Middle School, and in 2018, we graduated our first 8th grade dual language class.
