Barrow Street Nursery School believes the early years are the most productive of a child's life and we challenge our students to excel in ways that fit their own unique development We believe that children learn best in an environment that is filled with opportunities to explore their world and to build on their previous experiences. Greenwich House, our parent organization, had one of the first recorded nursery schools in the city in 1917. Our rooftop playground was always designed for young children!

Full health, dental benefits. Additional salary can be earned by working our summer program (9:00 - 1:00 for 3 weeks in June and 3 weeks in July). Barrow Street also has a strong emphasis on professional development endeavors for teachers and allocates funds for conferences, graduate level classes, and workshops teachers may be interested in.
