The Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball School is a charter, co-ed, tuition-free high school. Starting with a founding class of 110 freshmen in the 21-22 school year and growing to a total student body of 440, we seek to foster a unique, innovative, and hands-on learning environment. The school will feature small class sizes, wrap-around support and students will have access to a robust and innovative model with 6 academic departments: entrepreneurial business, science and kinesiology, sports journalism, computer science, language, and mathematics. Enrichment programs will help prepare our students for future success beyond the classroom and basketball court. From financial support to social and professional guidance, our services will ensure that every child has the tools they need to thrive. Enrichment programs will include: a 1:1 in-house mentoring program, career and college guidance, summer internship programs, mental health services, financial support and the Ben Jobe scholarship fund.
