Frayser Community Schools is a neighborhood charter school network, based in Memphis, Tennessee. FCS currently operates three schools: MLK College Prep, Humes Middle, and Westside Middle. Frayser Community Schools strives to provide a transformative education to the students of Frayser. FCS provide them with the skills and knowledge required to break the cycle of poverty and crime in the community and set them on a path to college and career. We seek to close the Achievement gap, ensure students reach proficiency, and provide parents with the meaningful opportunities to participate in their children’s education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree • 2 years teaching experience in urban schools (Preferred) • Valid Tennessee teacher’s license with appropriate endorsement in the grade/subject taught, or • Currently enrolled in an Educator Preparation Program or have passed the Praxis area content assessment(s) if the candidate does not hold a valid Tennessee teacher’s license.
