The Hamilton Grange School is a public middle school founded on the principle that hard work breeds talent, intelligence and success. We were named a NYS Reward School for Progress for 2017-18 (the only middle school in NYS to receive this distinction) and a NYC DOE Showcase School for Culture. Educators throughout the State will visit our school to see how our students learn and see our restorative approaches. HGMS is NYS's only middle school Reward School for Progress for 2017-2018. We made more progress on NYS exams than any other middle school!
