The Normandy Schools Collaborative is a family of educators, administrators, support staff, community members, and parents committed to providing a high-quality education to each of the 3,100 students enrolled in our schools. For our teachers and staff, our work is more than a job. The average length of tenure for teachers in the district is 15 years. Over half of the district's staff hold master's degrees. The Normandy Schools Collaborative is located in St. Louis County, directly northwest of St. Louis city. Conveniently located near Interstates 70 & 170, NSC is a neighbor to the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Fortune 100 corporation Express Scripts, and historic neighborhoods like Glen Echo Park, Bel-Nor, Bellerive Acres and Pasadena Hills. Beginning with the 2019-2020 school year, Normandy elementary schools follow a grade 1-8 “EleMiddle” model. Jefferson EleMiddle is located in historic Pasadena Hills subdivision. It is a grade 1-8 building with approximately 324 students. To better address the physical and emotional needs of our students, the Collaborative partners with a variety of community organizations and agencies. The Collaborative partners with Beyond Housing on several initiatives and projects to support Normandy families and ensure all students are prepared to excel in and out of the classroom. Other agency partners include Better Family Life, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Big Brothers Big Sisters -- all working in concert to ensure Normandy students are on the path to success. It is our mission to prepare global leaders for college, career and productive citizenship by empowering a community of confident learners and valuing the unique contributions of every student.
