  • Overview

An excellent education is the best path to a life of choice and opportunity. KIPP DC is consistently the highest performing PreK-12 public school system in the District of Columbia. Our students are matriculating to college at nearly twice the DC average, and our alumni are on track to graduate at four times the DC average.

    Bachelor’s degree (Required)

Commitment to working with students from communities with limited access to quality educational opportunities (Required)

At least two years of teaching experience in a public school (Preferred)

KIPP DC’s teacher salaries are above the District of Columbia average starting at 60,500, and we offer renewal bonuses of up to $5,000 each year a teacher returns. In addition, ample school budgets ensure educators do not need to pay out of pocket for classroom expenses. KIPP DC’s benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance. Staff also receive a 3% employer match and contribution to a 403(b) retirement plan.
