Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC Schools) is a non-profit charter school organization consisting of a total of 14 schools authorized by Los Angeles Unified School District, currently serving the Northeast San Fernando Valley and Northeast Los Angeles. The schools are designed to significantly increase college entrance and graduation rates for underserved students in the 2 Los Angeles communities referenced above. Partnerships to Uplift Communities is served by another non-profit organization, PUC National, which was created in order to support and enhance the achievement of the mission of the schools and also replicate the model in other communities. PUC Schools was founded on a belief that superior schools build superior communities. Our current schools have achieved outstanding results with our students, and we look forward to bringing that success to more students in the communities we serve. Our schools serve all students, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, or disability.
The ideal Teacher believes in and is passionate about the mission and commitments of PUC Schools and exhibits this through their development, reflection, execution of school culture, implementation of student rigor, and proven results of student success.
