Pink Space Theory is a mobile STEAM-based makerspace located in the Washington DC Metro Area. We create space for the love of learning! We do this by providing meaningful student-centered educational programs that allow students to create, invent, tinker, explore, and solve real world challenges. We bring curriculum to life by transforming concepts into an authentic learning environment where students can incorporate real world skills into the learning process. Pink Space Theory provides youth with student-centered, hands-on STEAM programs that build skills for greater success in school and their professional journey.
Positive, flexible, friendly, and energetic instructor with a passion for teaching Bachelor’s degree in Education, or STEAM related field preferred Teaching License in science, math, or technology preferred A minimum of 2 years of teaching STEAM required Detail-oriented, organized, and able to provide exceptional customer service Creative in curriculum design and development and delivery Independently driven team player First Responder and CPR certification Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to adapt to various audiences Ability to communicate in Spanish, preferred but not required
