PS1 is a school located at 335 East 152nd Street in the South Bronx. Our school demographics is composed of 75% of students are Hispanic or Latin, 21.8% of the student population are Black, and 2.5% of students are White. Our subgroup population has 25 % of students as Students with Disabilities (SWDS) and 25 % of students as MultiLingual Learners (MLLS). PS1 is a Leader In Me Lighthouse school that believes that all stakeholders can achieve greatness by living through the mission and vision of the school. Our school vision is to be Healthy, Happy and Peaceful and our school Mission is to develop the leader in every member of our learning community.
