Valence College Prep opened in Fall 2019 with 112 fifth graders, who will become our first graduating class this year when we have 448 scholars in grades 5-8. We continue to build our founding team of passionate, adaptive, and detail-oriented educators united behind our mission - to equip each of our students with the academic skills, professional habits, and strength of character to graduate from college.

Our founding team is a team of builders and leaders. We aren't picking up a script and executing it for the 100th time. We are writing it every day, building the school that families in Queens deserve, from a founding class of 112 5th graders to a full-size 450-scholar pillar of our neighborhood. Ideal Valence team members are driven to lead our scholars to strong academic results and willing to grow every day and work as part of a team to achieve that.
