For 50 years, Villa Maria School has been an inclusive community where students with diverse learning profiles exercise their curiosity and imagination as they practice the skills that lead to academic, social and emotional growth. Our students have been diagnosed with language processing disorders, nonverbal learning disorders and executive functioning difficulties, and they may struggle with organizational, social pragmatic, expressive language or reading comprehension skills. Our average class size is 4, and each class is organized by learning profile. We are dedicated to helping our exceptional students realize their potential by developing meaningful relationships and engaging in lifelong learning through skill development.
You should believe that all teachers are learners first and curriculum should not come from a publisher but rather be designed to meet the needs of the students you are teaching. You have more questions that answers and you are a creative, flexible thinker who works collaboratively with your team.
