Q: How much educational-based research and philosophy should I use? How often should they be referenced?

A: There is no need to expand on well-known theories (such as “zone of proximal development”) and a sentence or two should suffice. Focus on connecting the theory to your practice, and only reference research and theory in sections that ask for it.
