JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Special Education Inclusion Teacher will work in partnership with parents, students, and staff members including other special education teachers and administrators to promote overall student achievements by maintaining a positive learning environment that will continuously promote the academic, social and personal well-being of all students in an MLL Inclusion Setting.
- Provide daily instruction based on the Common Core Standards, the Central Falls School District’s Curriculum, and each assigned Student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
- Will Implement, develop and manage students, and all of their provided services, including assigned Individualized Education Program (IEP) in accordance with all State and Federal Regulations.
REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Rhode Island Teaching Certificate in Special Education for Secondary or Middle School Endorsed required
- Valid Rhode Island Teaching Certificate in ESL or complete certification within 3 years
- Bilingual candidates preferred
