We are KIPP Texas Public Schools, an open-enrollment, public, tuition-free network of charter schools in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. As of the 2023-2024 school year we have 57 schools pre-K-12 serving 34,000 students, and more than 4,000 employees. Approximately 88% of our student population is economically disadvantaged and 37% are English Language Learners. The reality is this: our work is hard. The days can sometimes be long.
